Good Afternoon Blendon Township and Ottawa County Residents,
As a form of update, we wanted to let community members know that we filed our Application for Special Use Permit to the Township on August 28th. As a next step, KCE invites anyone interested in Key Capture Energy’s proposed KCE MI 4 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project to join us to ask questions and learn about the project during drop in open office hours on Tuesday, Sept. 16:
- Blendon Township Community Center
- 6530 96th Ave, Zeeland, MI 49464
- Tuesday, September 16, 2025, 2:00 – 8:00 PM
Members of the KCE team and safety engineers will be available throughout the day. This is a chance to stop by, ask questions, and learn more about Key Capture Energy, battery energy storage technology, and the project itself. If you have questions, we hope you’ll join us!
If you cannot join the meeting, please contact us directly by replying to this email or giving me a call. We are happy to address your concerns including inaccurate information that has been posted to social media regarding evacuation zones, toxicity, emergency response, and potential impacts to groundwater.
Kind regards,
Brian
